Artist Statement

I became a musician so that I could express my emotions and connect with others more deeply. Unlike other genres, my goal is to improvise and create music in the moment, resulting in unique sounds and stories. Through the power of my music, I can transport the listener on an emotional journey away from reality. My intention is for it to resonate and inspire others.

I decide on my motions at the moment and use them to tell a story. I select sounds that differ from those of the regular drummer. I combine genres, resulting in a wide dynamic range and an evolving musical experience for the audience. I prefer completely improvisational music because it creates music in the moment rather than beforehand, allowing for proper expression on the drums.

The idea that art reveals more profound realities or truths about human existence, feelings, or the outside world is known as "art as truth." It implies that artists communicate ideas that go beyond outward manifestations by offering a glimpse into the inner workings of the human soul, society, or the natural world through their artistic expression, whether visual, musical, literary, or otherwise. In this way, art can reveal hidden realities while also increasing the accessibility and comprehension of the intangible.

My current projects build on my previous musical projects and explorations. I'm attempting to push myself and opus myself more in order to break boundaries and innovate on the drums. I always think this is important because I want to be original and improvise, as well as play music that has never been done before. It also allows me to be a truly unique player and have my own sound.
